Full time, Distribution/Warehouse

This is a permanent, full time opportunity that would suit a motivated and energetic operator keen to further their career in logistics & warehousing

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure accurate quantity and quality of inbound goods through completion of the good receipting process including the safe unloading of vehicles.
  • Maintain inventory through correct labelling, storage and issuing of materials.
  • Executing all goods movements in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to reflect the quantity, location and availability of items including, the accurate receipt and issue of inventory items.
  • Receipting orders accurately and efficiently 
  • Use of RF scanning
  • Placing orders
  • Following credit return process
  • Processing damaged and incorrect freight
  • Ensure total compliance to all company safety processes and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Loading and unloading of freight
  • Tracking and recording of freight movements through SAP
  • Working within a team in a fast paced and demanding environment

  • Ability to consistently reach and exceed hourly receipting targets without compromising safety or receipting accuracy
  • Effective IT skills
  • Knowledge and experience utilising SAP integrated inventory management system.
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Ability to work proactively.
  • Have a flexible approach to job tasking and scheduling.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change (flexible attitude)
  • Proven understanding and experience in warehouse and logistics in the mining or other heavy industry.
  • Class 'C' 'Drivers License (WA)
  • High Risk Work License
