Full time, Site Manager/Supervisor
This is a key position to ensure all required outcomes are achieved within the Pilbara region on a daily basis including strategic planning for the future, safety across the Pilbara, customer relations and profitability is in line with Linfox KPI’s and contractual requirements.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities include:
Drive the Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensure that
vision ZERO is a daily focus Ensure that the Linfox LIFT Values are part of the operational culture and all actions
Day to day supervision of our Port Hedland site and provide support to all contracts within the region to ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed in line with the overall operation strategy
Work in conjunction with the R & I West transport team and third-party transport contracts to collect freight request
Schedule of transport services to all regional distribution hubs within the Pilbara
Build and foster a successful relationship with regional customers through constant communication
Facilitate continuous improvement across the site through review of analytical data and develop new strategies to meet the future operational plan
Perform daily and weekly team meetings in the form of Safety Toolboxes to communicate safety messages and encourage participation in site safety initiatives
Ensure completion of comprehensive incident reporting, communication of investigation findings and implementation of identified actions in line with Linfox reporting requirements

The successful applicant will possess the following:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
General Freight & Bulk Fuel distribution knowledge and experience
Complete understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of legislative requirements for transport in WA for Load Restraint and COR
Previous experience with load configurations, weights, truck & trailer type allocation, Permits, Dangerous Goods and general freight operations
Extensive exposure in implementing and managing site safety operations, incident investigations and actions
Proven track record in strategic planning, scheduling and labour rostering
Desire to challenge existing processes and procedures to drive operation improvements
Proven track record in performance management of staff
High customer service focus, excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders on all levels
