What does the job look like?

Join Linfox as a Dispatch Coordinator at our Laverton site, overseeing day-shift operations across both cold store and ambient warehouse environments. Lead a large team to ensure smooth workflow, inventory accuracy, and safety, while driving process improvements and supporting automation in a fast-paced logistics setting. This role will be a permanent position on Day Shift (6:30 – 3pm). Key areas:

  • Oversee all day-shift operations, including inventory management, workflow coordination, and team leadership.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational, inventory, and WMS-related issues.
  • Monitor workflow, safety, and operational efficiency to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy (>99%) and ensure timely outbound and inbound load completion.
  • Keep operational records, manning sheets, and shift tracking up to date for seamless handovers.
  • Lead, support, and hold team members accountable for performance and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives across warehouse operations.

Are you the one?

You will bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to the team as well as the drive to build strong relationships with our customers. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar role within warehousing or logistics
  • Strong background in RF scanning warehouse systems and WMS (Paperless, SMILE80, SAP WMS) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and team leadership skills.
  • Proven ability in operations planning, scheduling, and change management.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and LMS.
  • Organised, responsive, and attentive to detail.
