What does the role involve?

Join our dynamic Fleet team at the Linfox Erskine Park Service Centre as a Service Advisor. Whether you're an experienced Service Advisor or a qualified Diesel Mechanic ready to step off the tools and elevate your career, this is your opportunity to make a genuine impact in a role that keeps our fleet moving safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the State Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring repairs and maintenance across our fleet align with Linfox standards and operational priorities. Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop
  • Prioritising repairs based on safety, urgency and operational needs
  • Raising and managing purchase orders for outsourced work
  • Building strong, professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and service partners
  • Providing technical advice and ensuring all paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and being the central point of contact in a busy fleet environment.

Are you the right fit?

We’re looking for someone with hands‑on fleet maintenance knowledge who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused role. You will bring:

  • A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential) – perfect for candidates wanting to step off the workshop floor
  • Previous experience in a service advisory or fleet maintenance role, ideally with exposure to prime movers, trailers, and LNG equipment (advantageous)
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and experience with SAP is highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, with the capacity to stay calm and efficient under pressure
  • The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance schedules and engineering documents
