What does the job look like?

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high-performing warehouse team which ensures the BevChain contracted outcomes are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner to both BevChain and our customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary responsibilities involve resource allocation and providing support to management in the enhancement and optimisation of warehouse procedures to achieve better operational outcomes. This is a permanent opportunity located in Eagle Farm, operating Mon – Fri, 05:00 – 13:30. Key areas: 

  • Oversee warehouse operations, with a specific emphasis on managing inbound/outbound processes, pick face organisation, transport coordination, receipt handling, picking, and the timely dispatch of goods.
  • Efficiently schedule and manage warehouse teams and resources to achieve productive results, including improving picking efficiency in a high-volume warehouse and overseeing key performance indicators.
  • Supervise and facilitate effective communication among various stakeholders, encompassing customers and employees across the organisation.
  • Strategically plan and execute daily labour activities within the facility, ensuring alignment with financial plans and coordinating schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage of all operational areas.
  • Cultivate and sustain a successful relationship with the customer and key stakeholders.
  • Actively engage with on-site personnel at the forefront to ensure their motivation, training, and competence in task execution.

  • Exceptional coordination, precision, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
