What does the job look like?

Key areas: 

• Allocating and coordinating daily vehicle movements to meet customer expectations and service requirements
• Communicating clearly with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned
• Managing bookings, manifests and delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times
• Updating jobs in SAP and supporting the administration of operational workflows
• Monitoring fleet utilisation, identifying real-time capability, and escalating issues where required
• Completing daily yard checks, supporting safety initiatives, and contributing to Linfox’s Vision Zero culture
• Coordinating maintenance schedules to minimise disruption and maximise fleet utilisation 

Are you the one?

• Experience in transport allocation, scheduling or similar operations roles within the Logistics/Transport industry
• Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with drivers and stakeholders
• Ability to stay calm, organised and solution-focused in a high-pressure environment
• Solid geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong computer skills, and the ability to pick up systems quickly (experience with SAP or MT Data is a bonus)
• A commitment to safety, compliance and delivering great customer service
