What does the job look like?
Linfox partners with Australia’s leading mining companies to deliver specialised logistics solutions nationwide. We’re seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our Hazelmere operations to manage over-size and out-of-scope linehaul movements across our network. This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday). Key areas:
- Coordinate and record all over-size transport movements in the Transport Management System
- Source quotes from subcontractors for out-of-scope and over-size jobs
- Secure customer approvals before works begins
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Assist with general transport admin tasks as needed
Are you the one?
To excel in this role, you will be a fast learner who performs well under pressure in fast paced environments. You bring a solutions-driven mindset and a strong customer focus, fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You can demonstrate:
- Experience in transport operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of fatigue management, load restraint, and mass management
- Strong organisational skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP TM experience is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
