What does the job look like?

Our Intermodal Business Unit have a causal opportunity for a Storeperson/Forklift Driver to join our team at West Melbourne VIC. In this role, you will action all Cross-Dock and logistics tasks including Forklift operations, manual handling as required and other operational tasks. Hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 8:00am - 4:00pm, with overtime as required.

Key areas:

• Understand the business goals and vision with safety at the forefront.
• Following all safety and handling procedures to prevent injury or damage.
• Forklift operations – Counterbalance – loading/unloading trucks and/or containers.
• Loading and unloading goods from pallets or storage racks
• Operate independently and contribute actively as a team member.

You can demonstrate:

• Current High-risk LF Forklift licence.
• Own reliable transport.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Desire to succeed and drive continuous improvement.
• Commitment to Linfox safety culture and values.
