About the Role

The Finance Manager – Corporate Services plays a key leadership role within the Group Accounting function. This position leads a team of three and partners closely with senior leaders across Corporate Services, commercial teams, and operational business units.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Business Partner ready to step up, or an experienced Finance Manager looking to broaden their scope in a dynamic, complex environment. You will play a critical role in statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and business partnering, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives and strengthening financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Corporate Services Finance team, overseeing all weekly, monthly, and year‑end close processes and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, ensuring robust governance of balance sheet controls and financial processes.
  • Coordinate statutory reporting and audit requirements across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with AASB, IFRS and internal standards.
  • Consolidate, prepare and distribute weekly and monthly group reports for senior leadership, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with the business to deliver financial insights and lead key projects focused on revenue assurance, financial governance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture and ensuring effective communication, KPI alignment and people management compliance.

About You

You are a proactive, solutions-focused finance professional with strong technical capability and a collaborative approach. You enjoy leading people, partnering with stakeholders and improving systems and processes.

You will also bring:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, with CA/CPA/CFA qualification.
  • Experience across financial accounting and management reporting, ideally in logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similarly complex industry.
  • Strong statutory reporting experience.
  • Background in budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, compliance and governance.
  • Experience managing and developing diverse financial teams.
  • Proven ability to drive systems and process improvements (SAP/S4HANA highly regarded, not essential).
  • Ability to navigate complexity, influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
