Are you looking to start or build a career in transport and logistics? This is a great opportunity to step into a Transport Allocator role where you’ll learn how freight moves across Australia and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

As part of our team at Acacia Ridge, you’ll be trained to coordinate daily transport operations, work closely with drivers and customers, and play a key role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently. We currently have a full time permanent opportunity available working 5 x days a week on day shift, including Saturday's & Sunday's commencing at 5:00am with flexibility with working hours/days days throughout the week. 

With your genuine interest in transport operations and safety, you will receive tailored training and mentoring, so you’ll have the confidence to gradually take ownership of:

• Coordinating and allocating daily vehicle movements to meet customer service requirements
• Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Managing bookings, manifests, and delivery paperwork with a strong focus on accuracy
• Updating jobs and records in operational systems such as SAP
• Monitoring fleet activity and learning how to respond to changing priorities
• Completing daily yard checks and supporting safety and compliance initiatives
• Assisting with vehicle maintenance coordination to minimise downtime

You don’t need prior experience as a Transport Allocator to be successful in this role. What’s most important is your attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to stay organised. We’re keen to hear from you if you have:

• A qualification in supply chain, logistics, transport, or a related field or hands‑on experience in warehousing, dispatch, or operations
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with different stakeholders
• A calm, proactive approach when things don’t go to plan
• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confidence to learn new systems (SAP experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
