What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and dedicated Road Operations Supervisor based in Willawong QLD. This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for supporting our outbound operations, driver management, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. This is a 12 month max-term opportunity, working full-time hours Monday to Friday. Key areas:

• Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocols
• Provide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI’s are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirements
• Identifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvement and innovation
• Effective management and development of direct reports and operational teams
• Partnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growth 
• Ensure that the systems and resources available are fully utilised to provide confidence to our customers

• Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
