What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking highly motivated MC drivers to join the team who can safely deliver various retail products from our Linfox multi-modal freight terminal in Regency Park SA, to our customers locally within Adelaide. As part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo fleet pulling various trailers from tautliners to skel, delivering to and from docks and warehouses as well as assisting within the rail yard. The successful driver will also be operating curtainsider trucks. We currently have a Permanent full-time position available working on day shift from Monday to Friday starting at 10:00am and finishing at 6:00pm, with occasional Saturday shifts available.  Key Areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedure plus the ability to work unsupervised
• Able to assist in loading and unloading when required
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, managers and customers on a day-to-day basis

• Current and valid MC license and history of safe work practices
• Rail Pin/ticket (preferred)
• Familiarity with Adelaide metro area and surrounding regions
