What does the job look like?

The Team in WA require a safety focused forklift operator to join them in Hazelmere.  Ideally you have experience with loading and restraining ugly freight but if not and you are the right candidate, we are willing to train you in appropriate load restraint procedures.  This is a permanent full-time role, M-F day shift 6am – 2.06pm. Key areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Load and unload all incoming / outgoing freight on to trucks and trailers
• Restraining loads in accordance with the Load Restraint Guide
• Working within a team in a fast paced and demanding environment.

 Are you the one?

If you have great communication skills and safety at the forefront and can demonstrate:

• Valid LF forklift license
• Experience with loading and restraining mining freight - desirable but not essential
• Experience dealing with out of gauge freight/ ugly freight - desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of Chain of Responsibility regulations
• Team player with good attitude and a flexible approach to working.
