What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to support the mobilisation and daily execution of transport operation. This is a high-volume, multi-site lift-and-shift contract moving to a 100% subcontractor model, with more than 36,000 annual deliveries across Sydney and Newcastle.

As a Transport Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching over 55 vehicles daily (rigids, semis, and B-doubles) in Sydney, and coordinating subcontractors across Newcastle. You will manage complex deliveries to our customers, applying precision to routing and pallet reconciliation. We have 2 day shift roles available (6am - 2pm and 10am - 6pm) and these are based at our Erskine Park site. Key areas:

  • Daily use of Blue Yonder (JDA) for transport management and planning
  • Subcontractor and fleet coordination across multiple delivery windows
  • Pallet tracking and reconciliation using our pallet management systems
  • Applying the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Load Restraint Guide to scheduling and compliance decisions
  • Monitoring allocation performance and reporting against KPIs
  • Managing direct driver communications to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs

Are you the one?

You are an experienced allocator with an eye for detail who thrives in fast-paced environment. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in a Transport Allocator or Scheduler role in a high-volume environment
  • Hands-on experience TMS systems – Blue Yonder experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong working knowledge of pallet control and load planning
  • A solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and load restraint compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with broader project delivery goals
