What does the job look like?

Linfox is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has exceptional planning skills, and enjoys working closely with drivers to ensure efficient and compliant delivery schedules. You will be responsible for the effective allocation of loads to drivers, ensuring all transport movements are planned, executed, and tracked to meet customer requirements. Your ability to think ahead, problem-solve, and communicate clearly will be key to your success. This is a permanent day shift and based in Regency Park. Key areas:

  • Planning and allocating loads to drivers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Managing daily transport schedules and adapting to changes as required.
  • Communicating clearly with drivers to ensure clarity of runs, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Ensuring compliance with chain of responsibility (CoR), fatigue, and vehicle safety standards.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external customers to maintain high service levels.
  • Supporting cost control, site safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you the one?

You’re an experienced transport professional with strong planning and coordination skills. You understand what it takes to manage driver workloads, meet delivery timeframes, and keep the wheels turning safely and efficiently. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in a transport operations or scheduling environment.
  • Strong load planning and driver allocation capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of compliance requirements including fatigue and CoR.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Outlook
