About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Fleet and Procurement operations at our West Melbourne Workshop. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee service delivery, customer relationships, and workshop profitability through effective supplier management and resource utilisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations with a focus on turnaround time and service quality
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supply partners to ensure seamless operations
• Ensuring all repairs and maintenance are compliant with Linfox policies and NHVR accreditation standards
• Managing preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications
• Monitoring operational metrics and driving performance through team engagement
• Upholding site safety standards and ensuring compliance with OH&S policies and procedures

About You

You’re a proactive and collaborative leader with strong organisational and time management skills. You anticipate challenges and deliver practical solutions. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A mechanical trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic preferred)
• Proven experience in prime mover and trailer maintenance
• Previous leadership experience in workshop or fleet environments
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and SAP
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands
