What does the job look like?
Our Retail business is seeking a PM Transport Supervisor to join our team onsite in Lyndhurst, partnering with one of Australia's largest supermarket chains. This role works on a 4‑on, 4‑off rotating roster, with shifts running from 4:00pm to 4:00am.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career—playing a key role in leading our transport team and contributing to the continued success of our operations. In this role, you’ll oversee PM transport activities on site, supporting the team with allocating, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries. Key Areas:
- Efficient day to day running of transport operations with a focus on ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational guidelines, and service excellence standards
- Plan and optimize transportation routes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact
- Ensure daily reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Trailer allocation as required – monitoring trailer sizes and heights
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, stakeholders, and our customer to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Monitoring drivers’ fatigue – this includes drivers declaration and run sheet checks

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS highly regarded
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Melbourne metro area is highly regarded
