What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Despatch Coordinator to join our BevChain team at Eagle Farm, QLD. This permanent full‑time role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced transport environment and enjoys coordinating a high‑performing onsite team. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will coordinate the daily workload of early‑morning transport drivers, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational targets are met through strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm, with overtime during peak periods and occasional weekend work as required.

• Coordinate daily driver requirements, load allocations, and shift activities
• Prepare and manage daily shift starts for local and regional runs, working closely with warehouse teams
• Accurately complete data entry and review driver run sheets to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, company drivers, and subcontractors
• Ensure all shift inspections and compliance checks are completed across operational systems and devices – Including Weighbridge Compliance with outbound loads.
• Provide ongoing support and feedback to drivers to promote continuous improvement and consistency

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with particular confidence using Excel
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
• The ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, changing environment
• Experience in a transport scheduling or coordination role
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations
• A customer‑focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
