What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal have multiple full-time permanent opportunities at our Acacia Ridge site for experienced B-double truck drivers to deliver products to stores and distribution centres within the Brisbane metro area. We currently have opportunities on day and afternoon shift with potential overtime, shift times are:

• Day shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 5:00am 
• Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 3:00pm  

Key areas: 

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

Are you the one?

If you are self-motivated driver and enjoy the day-to-day challenges of the transport industry, then this is the role for you. You can demonstrate:

• Current MC License is essential
• Prior transport experience driving B-double vehicles
• Knowledge of local and regional locations within Brisbane and surrounding areas
• Familiarity with fundamental manual handling & pre-start protocols
• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
