What does the job look like?
Join our Retail team as a PM Transport Allocator supporting one of Australia's largest retailers. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan and regional deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations. This position operates on a rolling four‑days‑on, four‑days‑off roster, with 12‑hour shifts running from 10:00 PM through to 10:00 AM.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
- Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
Are you the one?
We’re seeking a motivated, collaborative team player who’s eager to learn and grow. Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive. You can demonstrate:
- Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded
- Strong geographical knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas
- Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure, remaining organised and highly efficient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
