What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal business unit have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced counterbalance forklift operator to join our Warehouse team, located in West Melbourne VIC. In your new role you’ll support our cross-dock and logistics operations, including loading and unloading trucks and containers, manual handling, and general warehouse duties.

This is a casual afternoon shift opportunity working from Monday to Friday commencing at 2:00pm - 10:00pm with potential overtime as required. Key areas:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trucks and/or containers
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
• Load and unload goods from pallets or storage racks
• Operate independently and contribute actively as a team member
• Participate in manual handling requirements

Are you the one? 

If you are self-motivated and enjoy the day to day challenges a fast-paced environment can offer then this is the role for you. You can demonstrate:

• Current High-Risk LF forklift licence
• 3+ years of experience operating counterbalance forklifts
• Own reliable transport
• Prior experience working within the Logistics/Transport industry would be highly regarded 
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Organisational skills & high attention to detail
