What does the job look like?

Our Retail business is seeking a PM Transport Supervisor to join our team onsite at Larapinta, partnering with one of Australia’s largest retailers. This role operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling roster, with shifts commencing at 6:00am and finishing at 6:00pm. Key areas:

• Efficient day to day running of transport operations with a focus on ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational guidelines, and service excellence standards
• Plan and optimise transportation routes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise environmental impact
• Ensure daily reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Trailer allocation as required – monitoring trailer sizes and heights
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, stakeholders, and our customer to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
• Monitoring drivers’ fatigue – this includes drivers declaration and run sheet checks

• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS highly regarded
• Strong geographical knowledge of the Melbourne metro area is highly regarded
