What does the job look like?

As the WS Portfolio & Delivery Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role within our Warehouse Solutions team, owning the end‑to‑end portfolio, demand, and delivery roadmap. Acting as a key conduit between business stakeholders and technology teams, you’ll manage workflow, prioritisation, and capacity planning while leading and developing a small delivery team.

This is a customer‑facing role that blends strategic portfolio oversight with hands‑on delivery leadership, ensuring the right solutions are delivered at the right time to support our warehouse operations.

This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC)

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Owning and maintaining the Warehouse Solutions IT portfolio and capacity plan
  • Managing demand intake, prioritisation, and workflow across the delivery team
  • Leading requirements gathering, change requests, and delivery planning
  • Coordinating RFPs, vendor engagement, and solution tracking
  • Providing clear status reporting, insights, and data analysis to stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships with business units, site teams, and technology partners
  • Line management, coaching, and development of delivery team members
  • Ensuring strong governance, risk management, and delivery discipline

Are you the one?

You’re a confident people leader and delivery professional who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. You’re comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and keeping a complex portfolio moving forward.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Degree qualified in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 10–15 years’ experience in IT delivery or portfolio roles
  • Proven experience delivering supply chain or warehouse systems
  • Strong background in IT portfolio management and service delivery
  • Experience working with 3PL or warehouse operations (highly regarded)
  • Sound understanding of governance, capacity planning, and continuous improvement
  • Confident leader with strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • ITIL certification (preferred)
