Linfox is seeking qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our West Melbourne Workshop. This workshop plays a critical role in supporting our Victorian transport operations, maintaining a modern fleet of prime movers and trailing equipment to the highest safety and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and trailers
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements
• Repair and replace components to manufacturer specifications
• Complete maintenance documentation and service reports accurately
• Perform testing and quality checks to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
• Support breakdown and recovery activities when required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
• Experience maintaining heavy vehicles, trailers or mobile equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Heavy Vehicle licence desirable but not essential
