What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day AM warehouse operation at our Eagle Farm Lion site, overseeing a team of up to 30 employees during peak periods. You'll be responsible for creating a safe, engaged and high-performing team environment while ensuring daily operational, customer service and performance requirements are consistently achieved. Working closely with both operational and customer stakeholders, you'll drive team accountability, manage labour resources effectively, and keep the operation running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead, coach and develop warehouse team members.
  • Allocate labour effectively to maintain workflow and productivity.
  • Ensure daily operational and customer service requirements are met.
  • Drive team engagement, attendance and accountability.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong safety and compliance culture.
  • Monitor operational performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Use warehouse systems and reporting tools to support daily operations.
  • Adhere to Linfox standards, policies and procedures, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management system.

Are you the one?

We are looking for a strong people leader who can manage different personalities, build team engagement and keep a busy operation running efficiently. You can demonstrate:

  • Previous leadership experience in warehouse, logistics or FMCG environments.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced operation and deliver against performance targets.
  • A practical approach to workforce challenges, including attendance and labour planning.
  • Exposure to warehouse management systems, with a current forklift licence preferred.
