What does the job look like?

Join our team as a Senior Transport Supervisor and play a vital role in managing transport operations for a leading beverage company. We’re seeking a skilled Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strong team leadership at our customer site in Tullamarine. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and mentor a team of drivers to ensure operational excellence and high performance.
• Manage daily transport operations, including fleet utilisation, load planning, and dispatch coordination.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue management, COR, and safety regulations.
• Maintain and foster a cooperative relationship among operational, transport, and administrative staff within both BevChain and the customer
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies in scheduling and route optimisation.
• Maintain close communication and regularly update the on-site customer to ensure seamless execution
• Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring performance target

Are you the one?

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Transport Supervisor to join our team. Based at our customer’s site, this role requires a strong customer-focused approach and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You can demonstrate:

• Experience in transport supervision, fleet management, or similar leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Melbourne metro transport operations and scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Proven ability to manage and oversee daily resource planning activities, ensuring alignment with forecast and budget requirements.
• Experience in overseeing subcontractor drivers and transport companies, ensuring compliance with cartage contract obligations
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel, transport management systems).
