What does the job look like?

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for the coordination of all inventory usage and storage requirements at the site, according to company budgets and plans. The successful candidate will report daily to the Inventory Manager and will work towards increasing the company profitability by efficiently and effectively maintaining inventory related activities, stock accuracy and product integrity. This is a Permanent Full-time Day shift role and the hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Key areas:

  • Monitor inventory accuracy by conducting regular physical inventories through cycle counting Provide accurate and timely reporting information from our company and clients mainframe systems
  • Ensure that quantity information is entered into the inventory management system
  • Adjust the systems to reflect accurate count quantity
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting information from our company and clients mainframe systems.
  • Daily reconciliations, investigations to address variances and rectify any factors affecting accuracy.
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment and actively promote behaviours that support an injury free workplace.

You can demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with exceptional collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy with expertise in WMS, Microsoft suite - Excel for reporting.
  • Analytical, methodical and process driven with strong skills in influencing internal/external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and positive can-do attitude as well as self-motivation.
  • Ability to drive results and processes whilst managing people effectively to follow the processes.
