We’re currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Coordinator to join our team at Essendon Fields. This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity, ideal for an early-career HR professional eager to grow in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

What you will be doing:

As a key member of our HR Advisory team, you’ll help deliver a seamless employee experience and support day-to-day HR operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment for operational and white-collar roles.
  • Managing onboarding activities, including welcome packs and induction scheduling.
  • Tracking and reporting on HR metrics such as absenteeism, punctuality, and leave.
  • Supporting managers with time and attendance processes and performance documentation.
  • Drafting employee letters and assisting with HR data collation.
  • Ensuring employee records are accurate and compliant.

What we are looking for:

You are a motivated HR graduate with a strong eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for people. You will also bring:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR administration or coordination (preferred) or Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); HRIS experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a blue-collar or logistics environment (highly regarded).
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
