What does the job look like?

As the Operations Processing Coordinator you will play an integral part in supporting the operations of our Intermodal Business Unit in Laverton North VIC to ensure site administrative and financial operations are completed efficiently and in line with customer requirements. This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday with ability to commence between 7am - 9am. Key areas: 

  • Ensure all Linfox processes, policies and procedures are complied with. In particular any interaction with customers including receiving orders, late pick-ups and communicating service issues
  • Maintain and update site administration processes including documented procedures for operational areas 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure any service issues are resolved efficiently
  • Proactively engage with customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting, including KPI tracking and analysis of profitability and variance reports
  • Reconcile and manage distribution records (PODs, run sheets, manifests) to support accurate customer invoicing

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or operational related role, preferably within the logistics/transport industry 
  • Experience using relevant systems including SAP, MT Data & the Microsoft office suite 
  • Proven experience across financial and operational administration requirements including freight plans, invoicing, payroll and payment related activities
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, drivers and stakeholders
