What does the job look like?

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced State Manager to lead our BevChain operations for a major national contract. This pivotal role prioritises Safety while ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong financial performance in line with contractual and commercial requirements.

You’ll be the key client contact, driving transformational change across warehousing and transport functions, and fostering strong relationships to support performance and growth. Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety and sustainability through proactive, hands-on leadership
• Drive operational excellence and commercial performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to elevate service standards and support business growth
• Inspire, mentor, and empower your team to deliver outstanding results
• Optimize productivity and resource efficiency while managing costs effectively
• Lead and embed Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance operational performance

You’re a proven leader in warehousing and transport, with a strong safety mindset and commercial acumen. You thrive in dynamic environments, inspire high-performing teams, and consistently deliver operational excellence. Your communication and stakeholder skills are second to none, and you’re driven by continuous improvement and customer success.  You can demonstrate:

• Experienced in warehousing and transport logistics.
• Proven success in managing multisite operations and customer contracts.
• Strong leadership in safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with profit and loss accountability and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High-level business acumen and analytical thinking.
