What does the job look like?.  

Our Intermodal Business Unit have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Branch Manager to join our team in Cairns, QLD. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee daily operations, drive financial performance, and inspire a high-performing team. We value integrity, innovation, and collaboration—giving you the opportunity to influence outcomes, build strong relationships, and make a real impact. Key areas:

  • Engage with customers for invoicing inquiries and basic issue resolution, maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • You'll champion our Vision Zero commitment while delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer revenue transactions, encompassing invoicing, pricing accuracy, and charge adjustments
  • Provide essential administrative assistance, including data entry, filing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain data accuracy and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prioritise and promote a safe working environment, adhering to safety procedures and actively participating in safety initiatives.

If you’re passionate about leadership, building strong relationships, and delivering results this is your opportunity to lead a performing team and achieve operational excellence. Key areas: 

  • Prior experience in a Site Manager or similar role within the Transport/Logistics Industry 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills, not only within direct teams but also by influencing broader groups across multiple levels of the organisation
  • Assist with basic HR/IR tasks, including staff rosters, performance feedback, and supporting staff development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships with key stakeholders to support operational success
  • Drive achievement of financial plans and operational targets through effective planning and execution
  • Ensure a high standard of service delivery, fostering a positive experience for all clients and stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals, while promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture
