What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to support our day-to-day transport operations. Working closely with drivers, customers and internal teams, you will coordinate delivery activities, provide real-time updates and respond quickly to operational challenges to ensure safe, efficient and on-time service. This is a permanent day shift role and based in Erskine Park. Key areas:

  • Coordinate daily transport activities, including dispatch and delivery monitoring
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day and support the successful completion of scheduled runs
  • Provide customers with accurate delivery updates, ETAs and delay notifications
  • Monitor delivery progress and resolve delays, access issues, breakdowns and other disruptions
  • Support transport planning through schedule adjustments and real-time operational updates
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, system updates and operational reports while supporting safety and compliance requirements

Are you the one?

You are an organised and proactive transport professional who can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable making timely decisions, resolving operational issues and building positive relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders. You can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in transport coordination, fleet scheduling or a fast-paced operational administration role
  • Practical knowledge of transport operations and the challenges involved in delivering safe and reliable service
  • Experience communicating with drivers and customers to manage delivery updates and operational issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond calmly and make timely decisions under pressure
  • Experience using transport systems, SAP or similar operational systems
  • A strong commitment to safety, customer service, accuracy and attention to detail
