What does the job look like?

Lead one of Queensland’s largest transport operations and make a lasting impact on people, performance, and customer success.

Partnering with a major supermarket retailer, you will lead a large and diverse workforce across a complex, high-volume transport environment. This is an opportunity for a people-focused leader who thrives on building strong teams, fostering an inclusive culture, and creating an environment where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Leading more than 150 team members across both blue and white collar functions, you will inspire high performance through authentic leadership, meaningful engagement, and a strong commitment to safety, service, and continuous improvement. Key areas:

  • Drive cultural change and shape a safe, inclusive, and engaged workplace
  • Lead transport performance with focus on safety, compliance, service, and cost
  • Build trusted customer relationships while balancing operational priorities
  • Navigate workplace and union matters with fairness and respect
  • Develop and empower the broader team to achieve their potential
  • Drive continuous improvement to strengthen efficiency and outcomes

Are you the one?

We are seeking a confident and collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, large-scale environments and brings out the best in people. You combine resilience with empathy, earning trust while delivering results across a sizeable workforce. You can demonstrate:
  • Proven leadership of large transport teams (100+ / 150+ employees), with an inclusive and visible leadership style
  • Strong logistics or supply chain background, with transport experience highly regarded
  • Confidence to make clear decisions and set priorities under pressure
  • Open, authentic communication and strong stakeholder engagement
  • A track record of leading cultural change that improves safety, engagement, and performance
