What does the job look like?

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all warehousing activities within the Heathwood site operation a 24/6 operational site. By skilfully managing personnel and engaging with various stakeholders, you will be strategically positioned to provide operational leadership and have an immediate impact on our high-performance team.

In this role, you have the authority to drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovate processes, and optimise equipment utilisation to ensure the attainment of operational and financial metrics. This empowers us to uphold our commitment to our highly valued customers. This is a permanent position, operating Monday – Friday at our. Key areas include:

• Managing a large warehouse team and proactively planning to ensure smooth site-wide execution, with a strong emphasis on inventory management
• Evaluating the performance of employees, and monitoring staff KPIs to maintain the warehouse's optimal performance and exceed customer service expectations
• Implementing initiatives to control costs, maximise profits, and meet customer objectives effectively
• Exhibiting strong leadership skills to foster engagement among both internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinating employee rostering, including agency staff, throughout the operation
• Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring adherence to Safety, Compliance and Quality requirements

We are seeking a manager who can demonstrate effective decision-making and leadership in a dynamic warehousing environment. Your commercial, operational, and customer service expertise will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and fulfilling customer contractual obligations.

You can demonstrate:

• Leadership excellence and the ability to enhance, develop, and motivate great teams.
• Ability to oversee end-to-end warehouse activity, ensuring efficient flow of inbound, putaway, picking, and outbound operations.
• Previous P&L management experience with a strong understanding of financial drivers and cost control.
• Strong communication and influencing skills when dealing with diverse stakeholders
