What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our Transport Solutions team on a 12-month max-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications supporting Linfox's transport, warehouse and billing operations. Working across SAP, TMS and enterprise platforms, you will lead testing activities, manage quality outcomes and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC)
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analysing business requirements and user stories to develop effective testing approaches.
- Performing test estimation, planning and test script creation across multiple projects.
- Executing manual and automated testing activities across system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing phases.
- Identifying, documenting and managing defects through the full defect lifecycle.
- Developing traceability matrices, test scenarios, test cases and test reports.
- Supporting business stakeholders throughout UAT and project delivery activities.
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Contributing to testing tools, processes, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Producing internal and user documentation and supporting post-deployment activities.
- Working closely with Transport Product Teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Mentoring and supporting other team members in testing methodologies, tools and best practices.

You are an experienced testing professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about quality and continuous improvement. With strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive approach, you take ownership of testing outcomes and work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
- Experience with billing systems within Transport and Warehousing environments.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (essential).
- Extensive experience delivering testing across complex enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience in system, integration, regression, automation and user acceptance testing.
- Expertise with SAP products within logistics environments, particularly SAP TM, EWM and WMS.
- Experience testing Transport Management Systems (TMS), telematics solutions and enterprise applications.
- Strong experience developing test strategies, traceability matrices, test scenarios, test cases and reporting.
- Experience with defect management and producing high-quality testing artefacts.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT or TestComplete.
- Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and CI/CD concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to testing best practice.
- Experience within logistics, transport, warehousing or supply chain industries.
