What does the job look like? 

We are seeking an experienced IT Security GRC Delivery Analyst to support security governance, risk and compliance activities while coordinating key cyber security initiatives across the business. Reporting to the IT Security Delivery Lead, you will help manage the IT Risk Register, drive risk treatment actions, enhance governance processes, and deliver meaningful reporting that strengthens the organisation's cyber security posture. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring security risks are effectively identified, managed and remediated.

This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC) 

 

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage and maintain the IT Risk Register, including tracking risks, actions and remediation plans.
  • Support the development and enhancement of governance, risk and compliance processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate risk assessments across technology projects and operational environments.
  • Work with business leaders and General Managers to obtain, track and report on risk treatment plans.
  • Produce security governance and compliance reporting, including risk, audit and remediation metrics.
  • Assist with policy, standards and process documentation activities.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
  • Coordinate security-related project activities, action registers, implementation readiness and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen security governance and compliance capabilities.

Are you the one? 

You are a highly organised and collaborative professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex security and risk environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and have a strong understanding of governance, risk management and compliance within enterprise IT environments.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or a related discipline.
  • Security, risk or delivery certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISA, CRISC or ISO27001 Foundation are desirable.
  • Experience in information security, cyber security, governance, risk, compliance or technology delivery roles.
  • Experience managing or maintaining risk registers and tracking remediation activities.
  • Exposure to governance frameworks, compliance requirements, security controls and audit processes.
  • Experience developing processes, reports and documentation to support risk management outcomes.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive accountability for risk treatment actions.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear reporting and governance artefacts.
