Regional Training Manager - Government & Defence

Reporting to the National Training Manager, this role will be responsible for:
Ensure Linfox safety standards and COR requirements are maintained
Overall coordination and administration of training for the Warehouse & Distribution (W&D) sites
Supporting Joint Logistic Command under W&D contractual requirements within the Government & Defence Business Unit
The Regional Training Manager is accountable for ensuring that training services are planned and facilitated to standards prescribed by Linfox in an effective, efficient and responsive manner. They will also assist in the identification and understanding of Linfox training needs for all staff in the W&D contract, conducting training sessions as required and be responsible for maintaining a high quality training database.
As this role supports multiple sites, regional and interstate travel will be required.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
Certificate IV Training & Assessment Heavy Endorsed Drivers Licence and HRW Licence
Defence driver testing officer (DTO) and Defence - desirable
Dangerous goods qualification – desirable
Experience in Military training systems (desirable)
Experience in warehouse management system or similar
Proficient skills in constructing presentation reports using PowerPoint and Excel
Demonstrated experience in a training and assessing role
Working understanding of the Chain of responsibility
Strong problem solving, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail
Passion for Safety, Health & Environment.
